Protect your PostgreSQL and Postgres Plus databases on Linux and Solaris without impacting users and applications
The Zmanda Postgres Agent delivers fast and reliable solution to protect your PostgreSQL and Postgres Plus databases running on Linux and Solaris servers. Administrators can choose to do an incremental or full backup and perform all backup operations while users and applications continue to access the Postgres databases. Zmanda Postgres Agent takes advantage of advanced backup technologies built into Postgres. System administrators can now easily setup backup schedule and policies for multiple Postgres databases from one GUI, without having to learn about internals of Postgres backup techniques and writing complex scripts.
The Zmanda Postgres Linux and Solaris agents are fully integrated with the Postgres write ahead log (WAL) to provide point-in-time recovery (PITR). A central management console and an intelligent scheduler enable administrators to do fully-automated Postgres database backups.
